Friday, June 19, 2026. 6:00 - 9:00. The 1st Author's Alliance Salon & Soiree. Father Justin Kights of Columbus Events Center, 2735 Union Road (near William), Cheektowaga. Finally the First Salon & Soiree. Six authors will be speaking, over 10 authors will be participating, door prizes, chance to bid on authors books, opportunity to speak to authors and purchase their books, Buffalo History Trivia contest, food and drinks avaiable.You do not want to miss this first event.

Saturday, June 27, 2026. 6:00 - 9:00. AUthor's Alliance Salon & Soiree. BestCellar Book Bar, 9560 Main Street, Clarence. Six authors will be speaking, psychic readings, door prizes, chance to bid on authors books, opportunity to speak to authors and purchase their books, Buffalo History Trivia contest, food and drinks avaiable. An evening to remember.

Buffalo History Books, Rick Falkowski and other authors, will be a vendor at Tonawandas Gateway Harbor Park Concerts, every Wednesday at Gateway Park in North Tonawanda at 6:00. Concerts begin June 17 and continue until August 26, 2026.

WNY Author’s Alliance will be scheduling events at restaurants, night-clubs and halls featuring 4 to 6 authors discussing, exhibiting and selling their books. This will be a new concept in entertainment – featuring talks and exhibits by authors, with food and drinks from the venue. Contact rickfalkowski@aol.com or 716-583- 0540 for more info. Coming in Fall 2026 - The Caz, 2221 Seneca Street, Buffalo. Starting in September - a show every month featuring music from a different decade, with a reunion performance by a group from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s. You will want to attend every show. Watch for additional information.

About the Author

Rick Falkowski
Rick Falkowski has been involved in all aspects of WNY entertainment during the past 60 years. He is the founder of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and Buffalo Music Awards, former publisher of Buffalo Backstage Magazine, coordinator of Tonawanda's Gateway Harbor Concerts, Assistant Curator of the New Cheektowaga Historical Association Museum, owner of Buffalo History Books publishing service, a UB graduate, USAF veteran, former employee of ASCAP (American Society of Authors, Composers & Publishers) and Time Warner retiree. He presents classes on the History of Buffalo History and Music at libraries, community centers, schools, senior living centers and for various organizations. In addition, Rick is the author of History of Buffalo Music & Entertainment (2017), Profiles Volume I: Historic & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY – the 1800s (2019) – Second Edition (2024), Profiles Volume II: Historic & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY – the Early 1900s (2021), The Spirit of Buffalo Women (2023) and Historic Places of Buffalo & WNY (2025). Working on two new books for 2026 – Profiles Volume III: Historical & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY – the Late 1900s and X-Terrestrial Ancestors, along with assisting authors in releasing their new books.
